Surgoinsville, TN – January 2026 – Contour Glass completes the installation of a new continuous flat glass tempering line. CEO and President Marc Massa states, “The associates at Contour Glass are extremely excited watching the retirement of the previous tempering line that processed over a quarter of a billion pieces of glass, being replaced with a new state of the art continuous convection tempering furnace.”
VP of Operations David Tomlinson commented, “ We challenged ourselves to complete demolition and installation of the new line on the same plant footprint in 4 weeks.” “Our technical team with the assistance from the equipment supplier accomplished this monumental task in 22 days.”
Mr. Massa adds, “We are nearing completion of our short-term strategic plan replacing our primary glass processing equipment with the latest machine technology while also increasing capacity by 40%.
